- Where did your nickname come from? Ye ol’ times when I was a pirate with a pegleg lying in ambush off the Biscayan Bay
- What part of the world do you come from? Denmark, Europe
- What got you into designing covers in the first place? I used to buy DVDs and such in Sweden, so I wanted new covers for them. Not always being able to finding what I needed, I started making them myself.
- Is there anyone on the cover making scene that has inspired you? A lot of the ol’ dogs of this biz, Skallywag, dweez, Powers, Lulubelle, CML, Irrob, SXS, gravital, Arkflip. From Denmark my old friend Aalykke.
- What would be your best advice to any up and coming designer? Don’t do it!!! It will rob you blind of whatever hours you have left for sleep, after job/school!
- What’s your favourite cover you have made? The Warlords. Really like the colours, and I think it was the first time I tried something else with the back layout. Luckily I had a very good friend, and legend in the biz, to give me pointers.
- What’s your least favourite cover you have made? Fantastic 4 spanning spines crap. Can’t believe I actually made that one. *pukes*
- What’s your favourite cover that someone else has made? Hmm. I think I have a fav for each of the designers mentioned above, but Skallywags X-Men Trilogy and dweez’ Secret Garden stands out to me.

- What is your real name? Jakob
- What do you do for a living? Graphic Design School
- Any kids (that you know of)? Two wonderful girls.
- Any brothers/sisters? An older brother
- What was your childhood like? Share an interesting "growing up" story. I got caught shoplifting once when I was 12. My older brother who was the one who got the call from the shop, later called me ‘an amateur’! My parents never knew.
- What is your favourite food? Pasta Bolognese – I use an original Italian recipe. Yummi!
- Tell us about your best vacation. Taking my kids to Astrid Lindgren’s World in Sweden.
- What is your favourite type of music/band? Blues, Metal, Weird stuff: SRV, Metallica, Primus, Zappa
- What is your favourite movie of all time? That is a close call between Godfather and The Shawshank Redemption
- What one place would you like to visit? Ayers Rock, Aus
- What other hobbies do you have besides movies & graphics? My family
- What is the best thing that ever happened to you? My missus (she’s looking over my shoulder atm)
- What is your favourite animal? Tbone steak
- Who is your favourite actor? Daniel Day-Lewis?

Some strange stuff
- Have you ever been shot? No, although I did actually break two toes once alone in our double bed – no kidding! Well, it was very early, and I’d just realized I was late for work, so got up in a rush. Don’t try that sh1t at home, kids!!!
- Have you ever shot someone?, I’ve never been convicted ... I mean, not that I recall
- What size feet do you have? They span from one end end to the other
- What's your favourite colour of sky? Depends on which movie I’m looking for a stock picture for
- Did you go out last night? No. I have witnesses. I think.
- What’s your worst nightmare? Having to keep on answering lame questions in questionaires for Spazz for all eternerty
- Pick three people of your preferred s3x, and decide if you would marry, sleep with, or throw them off a cliff. I’ll pick 3 to throw off a cliff: W. (just for being so stupid), Paris Hilton (for breathing), any cover thief (for lack of brains)
