I can certainly do that when I get the energy... I'm thinking about taking a short break after the recent batch of covers. I just figured people would want the thinner spacesavers given that there's those new-fangled 6-disc cases that take up the width of a normal amaray DVD case now. But I'm open to widening the spine when I get a chance... :D :D

JR... can you point me to a template in our Downloads section that I should use for the 6 disc cases? Or at least tell me the spine width (I'm being lazy and don't feel like looking myself) :( :( :D :D

I've made my own template, as it fits the 6-Disc cases I bought. Here ya Go

Newsflash.........Black Panther Animated Series has started airing in Australia, according to the web there are 8 episodes being shown on ABC3 not sure when it will be shown in the U.S. though.

The only artwork I've seen for it is too low res to do anything with, perhaps the power that be might be able to source something.

You probably know this already but I thought I'd give you the heads up :D

I've seen the first two episode, doesn't look too bad, the first episode had Captain America, the second had Juggernaut, Wolverine, Cyclops and Nightcrawler oh and Storm

Yeah, I heard somewhere that Black Panther started... I'd love to do a cover for it, but like you said, I can't find $#!t for this show... friggin' Marvel and their goofy animation deals. Oh well, I don't think anyone's chomping at the bit for a cover anyway... I'll wait and see... :D :D :D

Looks like they're going for a real John Romita Jr. look for the series. Could prove interesting.

Hmmm... could be interesting, but I've been kind of disenchanted with Marvel's recent animated stuff (Wolverine and the X-Men & Spectacular Spider-Man excluded).

"Iron Man: Armored Adventures" ditches everything that made the Iron Man movie so cool by putting Tony in high school. "Marvel Superhero Squad" is not made for adults so I kind of forget about it. "Black Panther" premiered with a whisper on an Aussie channel? And the only Lionsgate DTV that I've had any interest in watching more than once was "Hulk Vs." But like I said, WATXM and Spect. Spidey have been pretty darn good (too bad the former's second season won't start until at least next fall and the latter's third season is still in question thanks to the Disney/Marvel merger).

Let's hope having all of Marvel's characters under one studio again (even though they're still kind of all over the place contractually) will lead to some kind of solid Marvel Animated Universe. I'd love to see something like what DC had with Batman: TAS, Superman, Batman Beyond, and Justice League but with Marvel. They had a loose universe with the 90's shows (Spidey and the X-Men teaming up, Hulk/Iron Man crossovers, etc.), but it was very vaguely defined and it's not worth trying to connect all the contradictory dots... :(

But then again, it's Disney so the whole "shovel mindless crap at kids because they'll buy anything" mentality worries me a bit... :(

Anyway, rant over and in the words of Clark W. Griswold... HOLY $#!T... WHERE'S THE TYLENOL??!!

P.S. I hope to have a small update soon, but classes have started again so I won't have as much time to make covers as I did recently...

Wow, I had never seen this thread past page 4. This is legendary work, Kernie! Your template has to be the best of any I've seen (and it better be for a set this vast! :D ), and your execution across each cover is fantastic. Really well done, sir. :)

Kernie you're right on about the Hulk vs. being the only multi-watch one. I too wish they had a tight animated universe like DC. Kind of funny DC has the tight animated universe and Marvel is working on the tight continuity live action films.

Hey kernie82,

Awesome covers! (bet you've heard that one a million times :D ) Any chance that you will be doing the rest of the Marvel Blu-Rays? ie: Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Fantastic Fours, Spideys........
