Totally. I will try to work up the numbers and template sooner than later. Work seems to take all of my time as of late.

Thanks weapon, I really appreciate the kind words!

Complete series sets have been something that I've been thinking about for a while, I just haven't gotten around to them yet for a few reasons:
1) I'm more motivated when I'm working on something that feels new to me, rather than a retread of a previous cover. So I've been more focused on adding new titles to the collection rather than going back and making variant versions.
2) I've been too lazy to do the math and figure out how many discs each series needs and then finding the appropriate size case and the template for that case.
3) Every other thing that pops up in my life that comes before cover making, unfortunately. :(

I've been especially considering series sets now that Warner Bros. has been releasing Batman: TAS, Superman: TAS, and Justice League in complete sets. So it is definitely something I'm open to and hope to get to at some point.

So, let's make a deal... you help me out with #2 above (figuring out the number of discs each set includes (excluding the movies as I'd prefer to keep them separate - just in case WB makes another spin-off movie that would require reworking the cover - although I doubt it) and providing me a link to the appropriate template in our Downloads section, and that will speed up the process a bit. I'll be much quicker about getting them done if I don't have to do as much thinking. :D :D :D

Sound like a fair trade? :D :D :D

Lovin' the Turtles series of covers. Nice work Kernie. I remember picking up the TMNT comics back in the mid 80's when they had just come out. I missed the first few issues but got started with issue #4. Managed first prints of #2 & 3 but only a second print of issue #1. So much fresh new and exciting stuff coming out back then.

BTW here's another couple of comic titles I can't remember if they got mentioned. The Tick and The Mask. I'm pretty sure The Tick had an animated series but not sure about The Mask. I'm pretty certain that both were comics before live action or animated though. I'm not looking for any covers just trying to keep the suggestions flowing.

Thanks, donger! Both The Tick and The Mask had Saturday morning cartoons in the mid-90's. I actually just put in a request for more Tick stuff and The Mask over at MovieGrafix, but I imagine they're going to be a little bit difficult to find (especially The Mask), so I'm being very patient as they work their magic over there.

In the meantime, I've got a lot of TMNT stuff to work on, plus a few other odds and ends like Krypto the Superdog and Superfriends: Season 1: Volume 1 (Why WB, why must release seasons in volumes?)

Oh, and a quick side note: I just noticed that MTV's "The Maxx" that I made a cover for a few months ago is finally getting the DVD treatment exclusively through Amazon and it releases this coming Thursday! I thought I'd alert anyone interested so that you can ditch the pretty uninspired cover art for something a bit more stimulating. Personally, I'm not sure I want to spend the $17 on a DVD of a show that has only 13 15-minute episodes, but maybe I'll reconsider...

Congratulations Kernie, this is one hell of an achievement, the powers that be should give you some sort of award for cover designer of the year.

I've followed this collection practically from the beginning, and who would have thought that 10 months later it would have grown to become this awesome collection.

Well done mate and I hope that we see many more additions to this set, plus other excellent covers your renowned for doing.

Keep up the great work

DS..
