Your spoiling us now, didn't expect any TMNT for a couple of weeks, so thanks Kernie :yahoo:

It's funny how that New York city scape background gets around, I've used it myself :lolboard: good use of it though, very fitting :thumb:

Just looking ahead what are you doing about season 3? As officially it consists of 4 volumes 48 episodes 12 episodes per disc, will you be concentrating them on one cover?

Definitely combining them all into one cover, I think it was Artisan/FHE that did everything pre-Season 5 and that made it all confusing as to what volumes went with what season. But yes, I'll be doing a 4-disc Season 3 collection, similar to how I combined the X-Men Evolutions and Legion of Super Heroes and stuff like that.

Here's Season 3 of the 1987 "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." As stated above, Season 3 is the complete season that would essentially collect all four of the "volume" DVD's that Lionsgate released a few years ago. So if you're in Region 1 and want to put the correct discs in this set, you should use the discs on the Lionsgate volumes #3-6. Then they got wise and made Season 4 a complete season set. I hate these studios, they overcomplicate things... :(

I'll post a spine preview pic later on after I add a few more covers to the set. It's getting to be quite a big image and it's a bit unnecessary to show every single addition. Anyway, here's the 95th DVD cover in the set! :D :D :D

Now here's Season 4 of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!" This was released in Region 1 by Lionsgate as a complete 5-disc set, so I think the goofy DVD releases are starting to get less confusing (except for how Lionsgate split Season 7 into 4 volumes... argh).

Quick question: should this animated collection include the 2007 animated TMNT movie? I think that it should, but I want it to be clear that the three other "live-action" Turtles movies will not be a part of this collection. I want to keep this a "comic book ANIMATED set" and this means that the first 3 Turtles movies will be excluded. (I'm sure somebody will still request matching covers for the other 3 movies, but I just wanted to explain it here first). :D :D :D

Enjoy!

I agree with that, but as the live action movies are based on the comic books.... you see the dilemma, plus there was a live action series called "TMNT - The Next Mutation". :D

I guess "if" you get stuck for things to do you might, possibly, perhaps think about doing them, before you start shouting you could always add them as a separate set like your live action Marvel set or with the live action DC you could possible, may be, perhaps do  (not a request..... Mmmm just a suggestion :moon: )

Anyhow Seasons 3 and 4 look excellent mate well done.

I think you need some sort of award just for persisting with this set, it would be well deserved and earned

Thanks so much again

Thanks, Darksaber, but I think I'd probably retire the template before I start doing live action entries to this series. Opening the door to live action means A LOT more work, we're talking all the DC/Marvel live action films (in addition to stuff from smaller publishers like From Hell, Constantine, Ghost World, Whiteout, 30 Days of Night), live action TV shows (Smallville, '60's Batman, The Tick... heck, even Heroes) and anything else where a guy put on a spandex suit and jumped around.

I'll be the first person to admit that I'd love to see an enormous collection of EVERY comic related property done in this template, but I honestly can't see myself sustaining my ambition through all of those covers. And of course, there will always be some dude asking, "What about the episode of 'Friends' where Joey dressed up as Superman? Or every season of 'Seinfeld' since he refers to Superman a lot? I know it's not technically a superhero show, but I still think you should it include it." Trust me, that situation will happen in some form or another. Live action stuff in this template is a GIANT can of worms that I really, sincerely, honestly do not want to open. (I'm not yelling, but you're always doing that little whistling smiley face and because I'm such a big softie and can't say no to anyone, I usually end up doing covers for those suggestions. :D :D :D )

So, after that long rant, the animated TMNT WILL be included, but the live action WILL NOT (especially not that craptacular Power-Rangers inspired "Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation"). Because then Pandora's box is open and the requests for all the comic book films will start flowing in. I'm not saying that in 5 years when all the animated comic book stuff is done and I still have motivation to use this template that I won't consider moving onto live action, but for the long foreseeable future, the answer for live action stuff is an emphatic, loud and clear so-don't-bother-even-giving-me-that-puppy-dog-pretty-please-face NO.

(Again, not yelling at you Darksaber, I still love you and I honestly think you're one of the few people who I'm still even bothering to make these covers for, considering the dwindling download numbers and comments. If you stop looking forward to these, I think I'd lose one of my biggest (if not the biggest) fan of this collection! :D :D :D :D ).

Just read that you´re open to suggestions - did you think of just make a HUGE GODDAMN box cover for ALL comic titles ever released??
