Warning regarding coolshop.co.uk

Just a warning to you UK and Danish gamers out there, that are considering purchasing from coolshop.co.uk. I recently ordered the anticipated Call of Duty for my son, and paid for next day delivery. Even though my order was placed in the morning, before their 3pm deadline, the item never arrived. I wrote to them regarding this, to be abruptly told they will not refund them next day deliver charge as the item was tracked. I replied to inform them the only reason for paying a next day delivery charge was, strangely enough, to receive the item next day. They are still refusing to refund my delivery charge, and it turns out that there is a fair few other customers that have suffered the same problem. So, consider this if you decide to purchase from this site, that according to them they do not need to guarantee next day delivery, if you pay them for next day delivery :chin:

that's bullshit. What exactly do you mean by "The Item Was Tracked"?

Though I have to say, they have a fair reputation over here.

Is that 'Track' system the same as over here? When you purchase online, some shops give you a Track No. so you can follow the item thru the mail system.

I agree with Daniel - I've used the danish cool shop (not day2day) on several occations and have never had any trouble...

Orders will always be sent as quickly as possible. This will also apply to the Next Business Day Service (Express delivery). The money you have paid still ensured that your order was sent fully tracked.

My order was placed in time for next day delivery, and I was not paying for a tracked parcel. The only reason I paid for next day delivery was funnily enough for next day delivery. Please refund the delivery payment immediately.

My issue is not with the £1.50 charge, as I am sure I will survive without the money. My issue is with paying for next day delivery, to be told that paying for next day delivery does not guarantee next day delivery! I just want people to know that if they use this company, they make their own rules. I won't be using them again, and hopefully this post will make others think twice about using them too In future, I think I will stick to a proper company like play.com

I used these for my call of duty mw2 , I must of been lucky as mine was delivered 3 days before the released date , but was still unable to play it due to steam not letting me unlock the game
