Leon Cover Text Not Easy To Read ?

Photoshop - but I know a few people make their covers in Photoshop, then print them in Paint Shop Pro :S

Thanks. I think that is my problem. I noticed printing covers from photoshop gives covers different color than when I print them from Surething. Though I can't print covers from photoshop at all or they will mess up. Tried before but it never works right.

Try printing them in Cover XP its a free program and make sure you have your printer settings right

Ok Cover XP won't work either. I don't think it has the template for the precut photo paper I have. I am just going to get normal paper and a paper cutter so I don't have to worry about all these stupid templates where I am limited to only a few programs. Thankfully I didn't buy much so it really is no big deal. Thought it would be easier this way. Some went back to this method with the precut paper because they said cutting them yourself takes to much time but I really don't care if it gets rid of all these stupid templates I need and where it never lines up in some programs.

Maybe it is your screen showin a different colour to what it should be on the paper. Try calibrating your monitor and see if that is the problem or it could just be you need to clean the heads on your printer.

Both colors are very similar the ones on my monitor and printed paper. I have monitor calibrator. It looks fine in surething just doesn't print the white text on the black background well enough to read it easily. Where photoshop does just the image would not be lined up on the paper correctly. Thankfully I was able to fix the issue because I prefer a lot of a dvd covers in black.

I print all covers first on a plain sheet of paper to test it out to make sure it looks ok first. Never waste good paper no matter what. I buy ink in bulk so it costs me $0.01 a page for each color dvd cover I print. I don't care about wasting a little ink.

what kind of printer and photo paper do you use. That might be the issue. Epson Premium glossy paper prints text out great. Generic brands wont do as well.
