Blu Ray Or Hd Dvd
I was curious as to what people are using, as the High Def war rages on. Have you bought a HD DVD Player, or a Blu Ray player for those special movies of yours?

Hehehehehehe..................I have Blu Ray everything.....................well High def anyways..................this week-end my darling wife bought me an VPC-HD700 Movie Camera................its the first of its kind ever.............this is new generation stuff.
Its true 720p and connects to the TV via a dedicated HDMI cable.
This camera is absolutely silent and is also the smallest video camera ever produced...........its tiny
Now, all I need is a portable High Def media hard drive...........I have been converting a whole mess of movies over to AVI format and putting em on my Pika-One..........maybe 400+ movies now........then I just plug this little baby into any TV and bingo!............but, its not HD although it stores HD movies.
Possibly, by this time next year the only DVD's I will own would just be my box set collection......the rest will all be digitally stored

My sentiments exactly.
Sooner or later some manufacturer will produce a multi-format machine that will play both very well and not cost a arm and a leg.
That and the studios need to lower the price of disc a little.tkboxer
