I see LG & Samsung have built hybrid players & with big companies backing either side it looks as though they may be here to stay :(
Reguarding more covers ,i don,t think it would be a bad idea to get a head start in this area. When the prices fall & they become more popular, there will be a market for them & would be nice to have some older covers here ready & waiting.

I stopped buying DVD's months ago. Only reason I may buy again is if both HD formats crash. If you've seen a movie on an HD format, it's real hard to watch standard DVD again.

But it is only now that we know which format is going to be used predominantly, that it is worth buying a player. I would be so pissed off if I had purchased a HD/DVD player, to find that it's gone beta-max!! Now bluray seems to have won the battle, they prices of the players should crash soon, then it will be worth while buying :P

@Baz. Yea, and I expect further price drops on Blu-ray hardware for the holidays.
@Kylumi. Whats the status with the international investigation?
When Fox opens their catalog of hits in Blu-ray....it's over.

since the blue-ray jewel cases are translucent, does that mean the custom covers will be double sided? :D
