yep looks good to go.

yep just leve everything ticked except english..

if you change the skin to rebuilder default you will get a better set up as their is more on that skin in the way of options so you dont have to look in menus

you may wont to consider ticking remove all DTS, i no sandt38 recomeds keeping DTS but for me personaly i have no need for DTS so i remove it as i have the DTS on the Origonal so i remove it from the backup to keep video as good as i can... but this is a personal choice...

buy your preview their is not mutch compresion on that movie at all what does it come to around 5.1 gig ?

Let me know how you get on shamoo

most likely you have not changed the CCE setting in dvdrebuilder as the error is that it wont load the .ECL file witch tells CCE what to do its from a wrong version most likey you still have CCE set to 2.5 in dvdrebuilder

have alook here in dvdrebuilder

Settings / CCE Settings and make sure CCE SP is the one with the tick buy it.( If your useing a trial verion make sure you select CCE Sp Trial)

as you have all the Paths pointing to the same CCE version if you still have the 2.5 version on make sure that path is pointing to that version and the same if you have Basic on...

if you wont to reset the paths the only way i found was to reinstall dvdrebuider but when it asks if you wont to keep the dvdrebuilder.INI file say no and it will ask you for the paths again...

The only other thing i can think of if the above does not work is you have a patched version of CCE 2.7, witch is no good if this is the case then get this program eclcce then put it in the same DIR as your CCE your useing then point dvdrebuilder's CCE path for the CCE your useing to the eclcce file NOT the CCE.EXE and it should work as the trial and some patched versions dont alow CCE to save the >ECL file witch it needs to save it for it to work..

Sorry its a bit long winded let me know if it works....

Can you give me a little more info shamoo on where the encode is stopping.. or on what CCE does when it reopens....

this is what normaly hapens when i use one click method.. do all your setting then select backup

(Phase 1 ) Preparation
(Phase 2 ) encode started, on that version of cce you will get a screen that comes up para*** then cce opens, this will happen for every M2V that dvdrebuilder has set cce to encode.. it will do this its self just let it run...
(Phase 3)rebuild

if you select to not use one click mode you will have to manually select the next step in the process IE prepare/encode/rebuild...

Did'nt you get the stuff i sent you via E-mail mate.?

as this is falling at the MTV encode witch i would put down to the trial version you are useing, as CCE needs to read The ECL file as as far as i no on the older versions of cce(never used the version you are useing) you would need to use the eclcce file for it to work as CCE trial has or used to have the save function disabled on the ECL file witch would render trail useless in dvdrebuilder witch is why when you get the options on set up you would have to pick useing trial and eclcce. witch i dont think has been brought out yet for the trial version you are useing....

Their is a test you can do to see if Your trial version of CCE will save the ECL file..

get an AVI file just drag and drop it in to cce then left click the file name in cce change any option in the panel that comes up then click ok it will then ask you if you wont to save the ecl file say yes and see if it lets you save it if it does not save then thats the problam...

Solution use the stuff i sent you if you recived it it will work.... or at least the fully working version of CCE

also if you are on MSN PM me you Addy and we will talk that way. it should make it a lot faster...

also trial version unreged will only out put 3 mins of video acording to cce home page anyway could be a problem also for dvdrebuilder

found this info at eclcce home page ECL support to CCE 2.66/2.67 trial has been implemented nothing for CCE 2.70 low priority and most like wont ever be so their is little chance of SP 2 cce working with eclcce as their is no suport for it...

Also take a look at these two sites for setup info Aferdawn or doom9 have good threads on dvdrebuilder...

i have never had the problams you are haveing my friend so all i can think of is the version you are useing of cce or dvdrebuilder...Also you can use any verion of cce i wouldnt think it would make a big differance in quality so if you have to go back to version CCE 2.50 SP for it to work this is fine...

we will get a working encode in the end iam sure...
