How about more of an an "innocent until proven guilty" attitude? Let contributors upload until they upload one or two bad ones and THEN route their stuff into checking until they learn better.
I've heard it said that people who can't be bothered to read the rules deserve public humiliation and I agree, but people who have consistently uploaded without any hitches shouldn't be tarred with the same brush.
have to agree with Jack here,
i have had a scan of the 'desperate hours' in the submission area since thee 27th..has the mod reviewing it taken an early christmas?
also would like to point out when was the last time i had a cover rejected???
its been a long time, and even then i think it was a dupe that i didnt find in my pre upload search
the last time i was rejected anything else was probably way back in maySorry for my English, i'm from Leicester innit?

FILMBOY ,
what i was getting at with regard to none of my stuff being rejected was just to further jack spugs remark, certain people should be trusted to upload a cover that doesn't need approval. if they then start uploading shite take away the privilage, but no doubt that would take more coding?something im sure bazz is pissed off with by now.

I think I already made my feelings clear on what I think of the gallery changes so I won't elaborate further. However I had no idea there was a vote on changing the gallery. I certainly didn't participate. I only visit the forums every so often and usually only look at the WIP's. I am usually surfing the gallery and spend most of my time there. I really have no idea how one is supposed to be informed of these votes. Maybe in the future you could send out a mass PM to all memebers informing them that there is a vote on a subject that could potentially affect everyone.

which membership was that, don't remember a poll or vote?
and visit daily! Can anyone produce the results of this poll/vote. Many complaints about this new system, and the galleries slowed to less than a clawl, but this is an improvement.

i actually thought the idae behind the galler change was to stop shite being available for download, before it was approved. (being visible in the gallery until filmboy hd checked it out). but as far as i know the new changes still allow MD's and suchlike to upload to the gallery without approval, so IMO this privilage should be extended to certain people, nameley contributors who normallly dont get rejected. once they start upping sub-standard work take away the privilage simple ?
