Actually, I'm glad that I read it. I need a conservative with a good feeling ending for my movies.ripley wrote:QUOTE (ripley @ Nov 6 2025, 10:08 AM) Never read a spoiler if you have not see the movie, never![]()
With that said, I just finished watching the miniseries "Task" and would rate it a sold 9. I basically watch anything with Mark Ruffalo, and he didn't disappoint in this one. But the actor that really surprised me and made this series great, in my opinion, is Tom Pelfrey. I hope they both get nominations for their performance because they were both great!
The Night Manager (2016) 8/10
My parter asked me to watch this with her, and I was a little apprehensive. I am not sure why, but I didn't think it would be my 'cup of tea'. But I have to say, I am glad that she did. I still have one episode to go, but after the first two episodes, I became really excited to see the next one. I really like Tom Hiddleston, and he plays a brilliant character in this twisty, unpredictable show. Slightly off topic, but I think Tom should be the next Bond.
Anyway, if you like action dramas with twists and turns, and edge of your seat moments, then you should see this if you haven't already. Especially with Season Two coming out in January.

Any of those three (Hiddlestone, Cavill or Elba) would make a great Bond!ripley wrote:QUOTE (ripley @ Dec 6 2025, 05:06 PM) Same thoughts.
About the show, really exciting, each episode ending really makes you want to see the next one.
Tom Hiddelston is a great actor and has many talents.
Look at Crimson Manor, just to be convinced.
And, he should be the next Bond...
Even though i'd love to see Cavill or Elba..........

As for The Night Manager TV Series suggested by Sir Baz, I already have it on my list with about 50 other series to watch. It's a work in process.
They have quite posh English accents, so you may strugglechouette wrote:QUOTE (chouette @ Dec 6 2025, 07:23 PM) Totally agree! I would also add Charlie Hunnam because he has some nice body parts, lol
