Hd Screenshots
Would anyone be interested in a HighDefinition Screenshots section?
I got quite a few and maybe someone else have some, or can get some.

My covers may only be viewed on well calibrated screens and printed on well calibrated printers.

Older stuff exists, but a little more rare as always.

Nice to have higher res screen shots when you need them..... but I feel there's any need for a separate section. Upload them in the gallery with all the other screen shots.
By the way... what makes these HD? Could you let me know what size in mm and res they are please.
Just curious!!

It has been a long time. Still two years to go.
Have been away a long time and still time to do.....

depends on the aspect ratio, but normally the big ones are 1920x1080
The reason I suggested a seperate section was that these screenshots might not live up to the resolution requirements, but I see now that we don't have any strict rules on that.

media player classic is another good app to take screencaps. You get a full-res .bmp pic which works alright.
And if you use a HD-srource (such as a 1080p trailer) you get pretty decent quality.
And sure, I wouldn't mind a section for hd-caps. I'd be willing to contribute to it too since I do screencaps every now and then.

Ok, we will give it a trial run. As long as we can adhere to a few rules, and they continue to be uploaded, I will keep a seperate HD album. It would be really handy if someone with some experience could write up a quick tutorial to help other memebrs capture HD screen shots.
I would like to make sure that all HD screen shots are a minimum of 1280×720 (720p). Also, if you can add HD into the filename, so we can easily identify your uploads as HD screen grabs. I will update the site rules, and create a new album.
If there are currently HD screengrabs uploaded to the site, could you please report them, using the report function, in the gallery. I can them move them to the correct album.
