Resource gallery to be removed

This is a notice to let you know that all the resource gallery albums will soon be removed. The reason for this, is 99% of the images can be found on Google images, or other resource sites. Therefore, it is a waste of our server resources to keep and maintain the gallery. We will keep a temporary album within resources, for anyone that may create a resource request. We will keep these images in the temporary album for a month, before they are removed.
Thank you to all that have uploaded and maintained the gallery over the years

About time!

I deleted the entire TV side years ago, was a huge waste of space.

The Design Assets section with Templates, Fonts and Logos is the only resources a site like this really needs.

A sad day indeed. BUT as Rip says - if it's necessary, it is necessary. Thanks for all who contributed over the years - and thanks for keeping the option for a temporary folder open for us without paid accounts for various Poster/movie stills sites.

yes .. most of resources can be found pretty much anywhere online.

maybe it can be replaced with some helpfull stuff for our cominity here ... but I have no ideas myself unfortunately

I did the manual clean up on this Baz to get all the many orphaned files one expects from Fubs coding...

Also turned off the recent Resources Block on bottom of front page as it is empty and since there will not be regular uploads to it now no point in having it there.

Couple of the menu links are broken now, as those cats no longer exist, I manually fixed the Unsorted link so it still works as expected.

Too bad, another treasure trove less. I always enjoyed searching for images there.

Thanks Curt. Do you know how long it took me to get as far as I did, deleting categories? Then you come along and in a few minutes do all of it
