The first ones successfully accepted to a cover site may have been a set for the Hannibal movies, pretty much just a blank canvas.
I had only seen The Silence of the Lambs (an edited-for-TV version), so it was an odd place to start.
Thinking back, maybe Red Dragon was a new release with a 1000 x 1500 poster available (which was quite the cover-making novelty in those days):

The first one that felt like I made something was probably Memento, using DVD screen captures:

Latest was The Mighty Quinn:

Favorite is probably To Have and Have Not, because I love the film and it marks a point where skills were finally starting to develop a bit:

Ohhh nice surprise from Tim!

Your Mighty Quinn cover had one of my votes. Such an amazing design!

Your favorite cover To Have and Have Not is certainly one of mine also, but my favorites would absolutely have to be your Indiana Jones cover collection! Those are the best out there without a doubt! I love everything you do and how your images are always so crystal clear. I have all your covers from EFX and now here, not because I need them, but because I love beautiful covers and can't help myself, lol

Thank you so much for sharing this here. Best treat of the day! :D

Thank you, I really appreciate that. :) Our friend JR has been gently reminding me to update the collection with a design for Dial of Destiny, which should be on the way soon. :)

I'm thrilled to hear my 'gentle' nudging finally pays off, hehe I still have that Ultra HiRes textless artwork for t, if you want.

I'm more thrilled to see your fav cover - which quote by happenstance is mine as well. I guess the old saying is true after all! Great minds do think alike! :D
One day I will be able to make such splendid work! Did I ever tell you that when I grow up, I wanna be just like you? :D :D

My favourite cover of all - I have that in my profile since the day you've released it.

In my opinion it displays all what makes you one of the very best designers all around! :)

Well since I posted to the other topic might as well wake this one back up too.

I have not a clue what the first cover I ever made was... I tried many...

I do know that most of my early efforts such as they were, got soundly rejected by the then most popular sites, probably for good reason, lol.

Now that said this was like a 4th or 5th generation of me trying with this title, and it was finally accepted...

I think it was even on here for a time but like most of my old work I removed it from around the web and far as I know it exists nowhere else.

Well here it is in all it's pixel glory it makes my skin crawl to look at it but I keep everything around to remind me of my beginnings.
[attachment=50261:LXG_Newest_Cover.jpg]

The PSD date on this is 2003 so was many moons ago... that fits as that was about when the film came out.

Now a few years later after Blu was all the rage, I took another stab at the title, still not real happy with it but it lives on in the gallery here.

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, The (2003) this remake was done in around 2012 so almost 10 years later.

Last cover made... not last uploaded... as most of the stuff I recently uploaded was made long ago.

Army of The Dead (2021) not one of my better efforts but as with most things I have done over the years there was a specific reason for this cover, see most of my covers came about due to some new thing I was toying with in Photoshop on this one it was rendering 3D neon text inside Photoshop rather than some 3D program (Cinema 4D) like I had done in the past. So was looking for a film that the effect suited and then wanted to see how close I could get the colors and so forth to match so this is a full custom title from a font, rendered and lit in Photoshop, custom on spine too. So you see the real work is often hidden in plain sight lol. The rest of the cover is pretty plain Jane as the movie was not worth a full custom treatment.

My Favorite cover is Warcraft (2016) reason is I usually find many faults to my own works even ones that are well recieved I might see as riddled with flaws lol. Out of all the many covers I have done I felt this one had the best overall balance, it of course has some new techniques used on it as most all my covers did especially creating the title lot of trial and error went into getting it to look like it does :)

I'm not Ron Burgundy but you Stay classy Hirescovers! to which Veronica Corningstone would add, and thanks for stopping by...

First, forgive me for laughing at your DVD cover, lol - Although it was probably viewed as really nice work back then.

You say your favorite cover is "Warcraft", and I tend to agree, but... My favorite of all your covers (and God knows I like so many of them) is for the movie I probably disliked the most and it's for "Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood". There's something about this one that stands out for me.
