Is there a way to put a drop shadow under the dora clipart on the spine? Like an actual shadow? Ive been playing with it I can do one behind her or to the side but not below her.

when doing the drop shadow there will be a circle with a line for the angle you can change to suit and can also adjust other things

You are doing really well :) We wouldn't be able to accept the front in our gallery though, as it is stretched out of proportion. Is there another poster that you could use?

Yup - and we are here to help. Everyone needs a leg up sometimes - both newcomers and experienced designers alike.

Synopsis looks better - but lose the hyphenation. Looks better if no words are divided - and personally I prefer if the text fits the whole line. (See attached pic).

That cover is really nice Kat, but needs a bit more work. You'll get the hang of it, no worries. :)

First rule, never, ever stretch an image or logo to make it fit. Find another solution than stretching or change the image. The new image you have now still shows it was stretch.

When I was learning, Wys suggested to chose a color on the front image to use for the spine and back before I try to do the gradient part.

You might find a better image on TMDb, check it out :

Good luck! :Owl:

P.S. We need Curt's beginners tutorials like we had at EFX. Those helped me so much!

I thought you had a different Photoshop as me for the paragraph alignment and then realized it's not in English, lol
