Made these back in 2010 with the horrible Leaf cover as my first. I just knew I nailed it with the knives on the other cover. Simply horrific. I have you all beat with the worth cover of all. lol

These are some of my latest designs. I'm more fond of the Disney covers, as it took me some time making the template. I think it came out okay.

I would say these are my fav designs. I took a bit more time designing the Wicked cover. The hardest part was the cutouts ofc but I'm happy with how they all turned out.

As for my best cover I cannot choose. Some I still pull down from the shelf to look at and feel the satisfaction I felt upon finishing them back when.

I’ll leave the final choice to you guys; you guys will be far better judges than me. I would curious to see what would your choice.
These are very nice, Jolly. Hard to choose the best, as I think they all are exceptional. Your early cover is far better then my first. Thanks for sharing.

@JR, That looks like the best early cover so far, really brilliant work for an early cover bud  . For me, your best cover has to be Watchmen, I still remember when you worked on it in the W.I.P :)

Also wanna shout out Harry Potter, I really like how all the elements are laid out on the book cover.

@bankska, Your first ain't great, but I've seen worse :p Let's just say, you've come a long way ;)
I think both the Wicked and Enemy at the Gates covers you've posted is some of your best work. I also wanna shout out these, as I think they are up there as well :)

And my least favourite of your is Salt tongue.gif

The worst cover I have made, has to be Alfie, made back in 2006.

The cover that I put the most time into, and it was a ridiculous amount of time too, is Avengers: Infinity War. Cutting out all of those characters, colouring them and trying to get the light right etc was sooooo long.

And my personal best has to be The Fate of the Furious. I really enjoyed making this one, and I am happy how it turned out.

I remember your War of the Worlds cover, which at the time stood out to me as exceptional. I remember thinking ‘will I ever be a good’?
The recent covers you showcase just show how much you still had to learn and even master! Excellent work, and something to strive towards for other designers!

21 bridges really show how far you have come as a designer, really solid work! Front and back really compliment each other - in the way a true master piece should!

As far as the covers of mine you put some light on, I am mighty proud of the praise, but choosing I had some reservations - I still think the heavy colours of especially the back of Watchmen are too strong and should have been toned down some.
Harry Potter is something I was very satisfied with at the time; I just think I made other stronger designs on the covers I showed. On all of the showcased pieces of mine, including yours, I remember the many hours put into them. I think The Untouchables took me more than a year chasing down pictures, lol. But very satisfying to get that old movie poster look just right. The excruciating hours spent on Titanic for that BR3 comp.

Thank you, Speed. I also agree the Watchmen cover is outstanding. I do love the color. The artist on this site are some of the best around.

There’s a lot to unpack since my last post. Very popular thread. :D

JR, I really love your cover for “True Grit”, wow. You need to move into the house with the Mac, seriously! Lol

Kev, well those first covers just simply made me laugh, sorry my friend, lol – And also, without a doubt, I love your Disney covers, always did! I love everything you do, but these are my favorites. I think you should be promoted to a level more than a simple “Cover Designer”. Just throwing it out there… ;)

Clint is the one that surprised me the most when I saw the cover that he did with Wys “The Croods”. Love that cover! You have talent that I didn’t know before.

And finally, Baz. I think you have just as much talent as my mentor. Hope he doesn’t see this post, lol

This is my cover for “The Walking Dead – Season 11” that I did as a request here. Like I said, nothing to brag about, but I made it with love, lol

I also did all 3 seasons of “Deadwood” as a request at EFX which came out good.

And finally, this was the last cover that I posted yesterday.
