How about something a bit simpler... also decreaded the strength of the fade to allow a little more texture to the bottom front?

I personally prefered the previous spine. The front looks much better now :)

How about with just the father and daughter?

I can't seem to come up with much better and i think i still prefer the spine with the others on as well.

You need to go with what you prefer Clint :) You don't have to take on every bit of advice you receive. I agree with Curt that it looks over crowded, but it is all personal preference at the end of the day.
