Before you close this post, may I ask why Wrench was promoted right away to Cover Design and not Tamas since they are both from EFX? Am I missing something? I mean, not that it makes a difference because the decision is made. I just want to understand since I'm new to this process.

It is very rare that members are fast tracked, and they usually have to be promoted one group at a time. Wrench was fast tracked because of Curt's advice. So feel free to blame him

But I agree with Curt as Tamas does not have the refinement that Wrench does, and sometimes will use lower quality images than what are made available, or does not use anti-aliasing etc. So we really need to keep approving the covers to make sure they are up to standard. I hope you understand

Just know that any decision here is never personal, and never made without discussion and thought. Also, have you tried to tell Curt he is wrong? Sometimes (and I am not referring to this instance) it is just easier to smile and nod at him!

I just read that back, and it doesn't come across as intended. I asked Curt for his opinion about fast tracking Wrench, as he is familiar with all of you EFX guys, in a way that I am not. In fact I threw lot's of questions about you all his way, as I was very impressed with all of you 'new' guys that were now posting covers here

But it was ultimately my decision in the end.
