You have nothing to be embarrasses about. If you saw some of our first covers, you would see how bad we used to be.
But this looks like good work. But it is hard to judge on such a small image. Can you post the full sized image here please?
I tried I had it the standard bluray size and it said it was to large and wouldn't let me upload it.

I think it would be best if the synopsis was moved up as where you have it currently, most people expect the legals and credits to go there so it is lost a bit.
The legals are where I struggle the most. I cannot find all the info no matter where I look. And if I alter any of the PSD's provided here it messes it up and I can never seem to get it to look right again. I would LOVE some pointers on this.
Most likely as it was posted in the wrong placekatcountrygirl wrote:QUOTE (katcountrygirl @ Jun 16 2024, 05:36 AM) I tried I had it the standard bluray size and it said it was to large and wouldn't let me upload it.
Do you have the correct fonts installed? If you are using Photoshop, and the text layer has a yellow warning symbol on it, you do not have the correct font. Photoshop will use a default font, which will throw it all out of shape.katcountrygirl wrote:QUOTE (katcountrygirl @ Jun 16 2024, 05:38 AM) The legals are where I struggle the most. I understand your nervousness in sharing your first cover. But you can relax. It has been my experience (of many years) that people on this site are kind and supportive. If you post in the WIP, you will get helpful suggestions that will make your cover better. Most of my stuff on this site is better than it would have been without input from others, and I still use the WIP when I get creative block on a cover. If you submit a cover and it gets approved, people who like it will comment on it to let you know. I have never seen anyone here be unkind or disparaging about other people's work.

Nice work for a first cover
Netflix used to release content on bluray like this one. Maybe that helps to get an idea of a possible layout.
As for where to get info from. generally from blu-ray.com or imdb.com or the production company themselfs (netflix for you).
Finding info for a physical release that doesn't exist (netflix) is hardkatcountrygirl wrote:QUOTE (katcountrygirl @ Jun 16 2024, 04:38 AM) The legals are where I struggle the most.
