I already printed it out and put it into a case. It fit perfectly and looks quite great to me. It might not be 300 dpi but it worked perfectly.

If you're looking to learn, you should take to you the tips the great members here give you. If you don't even wanna bother trying to improve it, why should we spend time helping you and why make a thread in the W.I.P?

O.o I did use the tips everyone talked about in the above threads. So how is it a waste of anyone's time when I did read the advice and I did try applying those steps? If it's too much time for someone to type some advice then don't help if you feel it's a waste. It's that plain and simple.

Speed is saying that you have missed the most important part of this WIP. The stretched image has been mentioned by a few of us, but you have not taken the advice from us. It is entirely up to you if you want to listen to our advice, but stretching images is something that should never be done in design.

Yes, this is what I'm talking about. Sorry if I sounded harsh, but for me it seemed like you asked for advice because you wanted to learn and improve on the work you started, hence it being a "work in progress". But you ended up basically with the same result as you started with, not taking into the consideration that "you should never stretch an image", for backgrounds or textures and so on, it might work, but for the main art piece it's a must to keep the aspect ratio.

Example:

This is/was a challenging title for your first cover here, so don't let it get you down if the process isn't immediately successful.
Your best bet starting out would probably be to choose a title with great resources available, just to get used to filling the canvas.

With that said, if you use the poster Jazzy posted, and maybe add the title in white, that could look quite nice.

The spine doesn't have to be a perfect extension of the front if the image isn't conducive. For example, on your current cover the dark blue text is difficult to read, so a plain blue or a different simple sky piece might work better for you.

For the back, if you fix the image proportions as Speedz0r suggests and have the synopsis fill out the entire width so you don't have to worry about the block of blank space on the top-right, that could be a very respectable result. Maybe even darken the blue shape a little to match the front.

Depending on the image quality, the result still might not quite qualify to upload here, but it would be great practice so that your second cover will be even better.
