Bring eyes to life

This is a really easy, but extremely effective way of making eyes pop.

Create a new layer and change the layer style to Color Dodge

Now select your Brush Tool (B) and select a colour that is similar to what you want the eyes to be. Don't worry about how accurate the colour is just yet. Now paint the colour over the eyes.

The colour is most likely to be miles away from how you want it, so edit the Hue/Saturation (Ctrl/CMD + U). Use the 3 sliders to achieve the colour that looks right

Now just erase any colour that is over the pupil or outside the iris.
