Colour pick from any application

With the eye dropper tool, you can select a colour from any application you have open, outside of Photoshop.

If you are using one monitor, reduce the size of the Photoshop window. Otherwise you can use an application on a different monitor.

Press I to select the Eye Dropper Tool

Click and hold the left mouse button anywhere in your Photoshop document, to bring up the sampling ring

While still holding the left mouse button, drag the eye dropper anywhere out of Photoshop, to select a colour from a different application
