Discuss what you like in here. But try and keep it reasonably civilised!

With the world being turned upside down recently, new movie releases have been pretty scarce. But it seems we have a few movies to look forward to this year, as hopefully the world can begin to get back to some sort of normality. So what are you looking forward to seeing in 2021?

For me there are a few titles. I am looking forward to Black Widow (2021), as who doesn't look forward to a cinematic Marvel movie. Plus Scarlett Johansson :p Also it has been a while since we had a good bond movie, so I am hoping that No Time To Die (2021) comes through this year.

A special treat for me, is two Ryan Reynolds movies. I am a big fan of Ryan, as I love is sense of humour. So I am hoping that The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard (2021) and Free Guy (2021) will have me lol'ing in my living room. I especially have high hopes for The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, as it co stars Samuel Jackson, Frank Grillo, Morgan Freeman and Antonio Banderas.

Then there are a couple I am looking forward to, but I am prepared for disappointment. Firstly there is Top Gun (2021). Sequels rarely succeed in trumping there originals, and I do not see it being any different with Top Gun. Top Gun (1986) is one of my all time favourite movies, so for me personally it is going to be hard to impress. And then there is the fourth instalment in the Matrix series, The Matrix 4 (2021). I am unsure if this is going to work or not. Personally I think it should have been left with the original 3 movies. I am pessimistic about both of these titles, but that is a good thing. If they are terrible, I won't be left disappointed. And if they are good, I will be pleasantly surprised :D

I'm hoping Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) will be good as I liked the first film. Also there's Spiderman: No Way Home

Oh yeah, forgot about Kingsman!

The Fast and Furious series has dragged on way too long, I think I must have stopped watching them after Tokyo Drift.

I defintivly miss most the publication of the new 007 movie. Bond films are all so great and timeless classics.

I would like to mention the new Mission Impossible movie, too. Not a rivalry to Bond, rather a great supplement.

Then there will be a continuation in the Horror sector with JIGSAW SPIRAL and HALLOWEEN KILLS. The last one will mean more designer work for me. :D

I´m a little bit tired about all these comic film adaptions, but a new Batman movie is always a pleasure. Since I´ve seen Tenet, I think that Robert Pattinson can do this job and Batman is my favorite hero, because he have no superpowers. But this movie will be my next year favorite (together with Scream 5), what is no part of this threat.

F9 is just for a good improbable action movie.
After the 5th installment, there is almost nothing in common with the first in the series, apart from the history of the characters. But the point is that the action scenes, as unlikely as they are, remain beautifully filmed and directed.
