Sorry

I must have something checked in my settings, that when a cover or label I've download gets updated I receive a Message, with something like 124 messages it's a little hard to ignore that you've updated them :(

Anyhow, it was a nice surprise, and they are outstanding, much nicer than your originals

What a wonderful job Mr. Kernie!

I love the new design you have done with the Smallville covers, a 180 ° turn from the previous covers, I admire your artwork very much, and I wish you many successes with your projects, also hoping that you do not,... leave us aside, and be able to continue enjoying your excellent work.

Blessings from our Lord, for you and all your family.

Greetings from Costa Rica.

Summer of Kernie! Weekly Update #1: WandaVision!
[Click image to view in gallery]

Thanks to everyone for their patience as I took some time away to create some new covers! At the moment, I've got about 6 weeks worth of weekly uploads to share, and I hope to continue adding to that stockpile in the weeks to come. My goal is for all of you to beat the summer heat with some cool, refreshing new covers to add to your shelves! I can't promise another straight year of weekly uploads (the pandemic and shutdowns helped give me a lot of extra time), but I definitely want to keep this going through August. Time will tell if I'm able to keep going beyond that!

First up is WandaVision, the first of the Disney+ shows set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I absolutely adored this show, from the sitcom elements to the overarching mystery into the big MCU-style finale... so I wanted to spend some time on this cover and make it as good as it could be. I tried going with an overall red color scheme, but that ended up being a bit too much red. So I opted for a gray/green palette that reflects both the green in Vision's costume but also the gray/black-and-white aspect of the earliest episodes in the series. I felt this color scheme best complimented the colorful keyart and vibrant red logo. I also labeled this as a "Complete Series," as Marvel has not indicated any plans for a second season (and honestly, I don't think this story would lend itself to one).

Anyway, I'm rambling again. Now for what you all came here to see... WandaVision!

WandaVision: The Complete Series - DVD Edition

NOTE: I also updated the Episode listing on The Walking Dead: Season 10 covers, since AMC ended up adding additional episodes onto the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic delays. The covers in the gallery now include the additional episodes and extended running time. I didn't add more disc labels, since the recent press release for the retail edition indicates that the season set will consist of 6 discs.

Enjoy and see you next week!
