Hey I'm back. Busy week.

Ripley: It's an LG OLED (CX55LB). I'm really happy with it so far. 4K and Dolby Vision look amazing!

Gonna get back to working on this cover tonight.

So I went back to giving it a sort of "frame" instead similar to what it had before as I didn't like the way I'd used the grey previously. Also added the logo and the image of Nomak (both found here on the site under resources). It doesn't look too bad so far. I need to add the new line logo back at the bottom under Nomak.

I think it worked better without the outline on the front or even how stampe mocked up.

As for the spine title, I would remove the outer glow.

I wasn't exactly sure how to frame it like Stampe did, just been kind of experimenting a bit. I really don't know photoshop very well at all! Have barely spent any time using it yet. Will try and do something like what he did though. Thanks for the advice on the glow around the logo too. Probably won't have a lot of time to work on it this week but I'm off work for a week as of this weekend so I should be able to finish it off then hopefully.

I would have a guess that stampe cut out the image (there are many ways to cut an image out such as the pen tool, select subject, magic wand, search YouTube and you will find a way that works best for you) and then added a square behind that is a gradient or filled the square with a grey background and then added a new layer with a clipping mask (search YouTube to understand what these are if you’re not sure) and then used a large soft brush to add two dots in either corner.

2 rectangular shapes with linear gradients, one going up and one down ;)

What size is the original file in pixels?

I agree with sauron about the glow.
