A lot of words come to my mind when I'm looking at my favorite cover of ubl6612, Vanilla Sky: eerie, beautiful, dreamy, abstract, puristic, with a little hint of tech. Been a long time since I have seen the film, but I know for sure that the front artwork is absolutely spot-on! Also love the subtle gradient as well as the B/W image on the back.
Next, there is this nice composition of 50% imagery/50% type for The Knight's Tale. I fancy the overall color tone scheme (warm brown and cold blue/grey), the texture and the use of a well-lit promo shoot.
Much like Vanilla Sky, there's a similar abstract front artwork for Revolutionary Road. And although I'm not that much into double exposure images anymore as I used to be some years ago, I will def give credit to this one as it was kinda ahead of its time back then in 2010
