Liking this a lot, but to me the mermaid tail looks too much like a ‘Y’, maybe make it more like a ‘T’?

I want to end this cover soon. Tried some alternative light effects, not sure which one fits better: the swirls or the kaleidoscope reflections? Also I will try to refine the mermaid tail.

The kaleidoscope reflections effect is awesome, but maybe it overwhelms the imagery a little?
I'd probably lean toward the swirls, but either way you'll have an incredible cover!

It is a left from me. I prefer the definition you see in the light house light beams and it doesn't distract you from the main parts of the image.

I think the swirl looks awesome. I definitely prefer the Swirl version

I kept the swirls but added some subtle light reflections from the other effect. I think I like that best

Also shaped the mermaid tale more like a T rather than a Y in the TT.

Pretty much done? The only thing left to consider for me is whether to add some seagulls, maybe right above the lighthouse.

Everything looks really good, but I'd like to see what it looks like with the seagulls tho.
