Designer of the Week
This weeks featured designer is Kylumi!
Please join us in celebrating Kylumi by posting one or more of your favourite covers he's made thus far.
It doesn't matter if the cover has already been posted by someone else.
Kylumi is a real blast from the past! Not only was Kylumi a great, and very unique, designer. He was also a very good friend to many people in the hobby and always doing his best to help anyone he could.

Congrats Kylumi,
You created many intensive color covers, so they get a smart artificial look
I also like
because of the colors and the design. So many things to discover on this cover.
I´m a fan of Allover Cover, but also like the compilation on the back.
The intensive colors fit very good to the movie

Congrats
Mike's eyes started giving him trouble a few years ago and his doctors forbade him using the computer for extended periods of time which forced him to give up his favorite hobby. It was crushing for him as some of you may know he was seriously into creating 3D art as well as covers.
A sampling of his work is still up on Deviantart most of it is no longer around as it was on sites that have closed now...

Congrats on being designer of the week Kylumi
Brilliant work on this cover, it shows lots of creativity and great work with the colors. I can easily see why this was a contest winner.
Very impressive work with this one, it really has the feeling of being a legit newspaper with the way everything is organized. Great job on the colors too and this shows a lot of creativity as well. Really well done.
Great work with the colors and i particularly like the synopsis and SF boxes, they seem to fit very well. Great job on the colors as well

It's usually tough to get a sense of who people are online, but Kylumi is a wholly unique character whose personality can shine through in his covers as much as it did in his forum posts. He's another guy where I expected 100's of covers to pop up in the search results, who in his heyday here always seemed to be up to something interesting and unusual.
Ten years ago (wow, 10 years?), a solid 50% of people who filled out the "My Favorite Custom Cover:" section of their bio seemed to have this one listed. He was always challenging himself to get better and try different things -- and came across as his own toughest critic -- but I hope he let himself take a victory lap after this one:
His Battle Royal III winner is another one where it was nice to see him force himself to accept how much the designers of the hobby respected his work:
This one jumps out as a very "Kylumi-ish" design, where you can see him trying a lot of different stuff and it doesn't necessarily feel like a cover so much as a desktop wallpaper fan art collage jambalaya, but because it's Kylumi it works:

So many great ones to choose from!
Not surprising, seeing Piggy is one of the great ones himself!

A designer knows he has achieved perfection - not when there's nothing left to add - but when there's nothing left to take away
