Designer of the Week
This weeks featured designer is Kernie!
Please join us in celebrating Kernie by posting one or more of your favourite covers he's made thus far.
It doesn't matter if the cover has already been posted by someone else.
Kernie doesn't really need any introductions. Everybody knows Kernie as the Comic Book King. His comic book collection is without doubt the best in the world, but this is not all that Kernie does. Now and then, Kernie will venture outside of his collection and produce some incredible pieces of art.

Here are four of my favourites:
Black Panther (2018)
The Lost Boys (1987)
Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
The Cabin in the Woods (2012)

Congrats Kernie.
All the prices and medals confirm his Master Designer Status. So what mor can I say?
Don´t want to write a novel so I concentrate on my favorites:
I´m a fan of the hole collection, but also the movies.
And then you top your own cover with that one:
A perfect cover for me
Another great collection, that I even love more than your comic collection.
Looking at this collection I ask myself, what is the superlative of "perfect"?

As far as setting expectations sky-high and absolutely delivering, it's hard to imagine any custom cover beating Kernie's design for The Avengers... until he surpassed it with Age of Ultron... and even further with Infinity War. And, befitting the series itself, his topper for Endgame is the grandest spectacle of them all:
As much as he thrives in the company of superheroes, my favorite covers from Kernie are his earlier designs outside that realm -- partly because he can elevate regular movies to superhero heights, just pouring enthusiasm onto the canvas in big designs filled with little details.
One limit of retail covers is they're frequently made by people who don't get to see the movies/shows first. So, titles with really ardent fanbases are where custom covers can shine the most, with Kernie's cover for Community as a prime example:
This is Spinal Tap is another Kernie cover that goes a step beyond just showcasing the movie and feels like he's directly shouting "You've gotta see this!"
If there were a poll of designers' 3-5 favorite custom covers, I think the name you would see the most has to be Kernie's cover for The Cabin in the Woods. I've never seen a reply of less than "Oh yeah, I love that one!"

If there's one persons gallery were the whole gallery is amazing, it sure is Kernie's. Congratulations on being Designer of the week.
This is what i call perfection, absolutely superbly done. The front collage is amazing, how you separated the characters is superb, the way you have Ghostface in the background also looks superb and this is probably the best TT i've ever seen. It's hard to put words on such masterpieces like this, one has to just sit and admire it.
The template you made for this collection is above all imo, the 3D work on the back makes it look so good. The collage on the front and on the back looks stunning, yet another masterpiece to admire.
Brilliant work fitting all the characters on the front and not only fitting them, but making it look good as well. Fantastic work with the characters on the back as well. The whole cover screams "Suicide Squad", so it fits the movie to perfection. Stunning work on the TT as always. I know we have a lot of fantastic designers here, but for me, no one has mastered the art of cover design as good as you. Keep up your stunning work buddy and thank you so much for contributing these masterpieces each week.
