Nightrider is a prime example of the power of the custom cover community, he's explored so many different styles over the years, making every HiResChallenge he's appeared in better, and producing a wide-range of exciting results.
He's created plenty of great-looking conventional covers, but I particularly like when he approaches a title from a whole new angle:

Congrats on being Designer of the week Nightrider. You have some very cool work in your gallery.
Lovely work on this one. I think the front and colors are fantastic. I really like how the woman stands out and awesome work on the broken glass effects.
A brilliantly done cover, has class written all over it. Your color scheme work really well with the cover, the front is great, how you showcase Russel as a beaten warrior with the coliseum in the background. Nice job on the blood as well.
I really like this one, it has a real "die hard" feeling to it. The colors work well, front looks very good and great job on the flames. The back is also great, continuing with the black and orange theme, the flames look good, the screen caps have a nice orange tone to them and the top left action also matches really well.
