Kernies Master Designer Invitational Entries

We have five brilliant entries for the Kernie Invitational, which will now begin the voting process. Over the next week, Kernie will look over each cover and score them out of 8, for each of these categories.

Originality: How unique is the cover? Is the design original, or has it used elements that have previously been used on cover or poster art?

Quality: How good are the images used, or if low quality images how well they have been 'fixed'. Are the logos and texts high quality? How is the quality of cloning and/or masking and are colours consistent?

Skill: How high is the level of skills shown in the design to get the end result? Is it custom art or copy and paste background/poster art? Have filters been used to get the end result (such as Topaz) or has it been made using standard Photoshop tools?

Effort: How much effort has been put into the cover overall? Does it look like they really want to win the competition and win that MD spot. Have they added those extra little details to make the cover a little more special?
