Your latest and your first
Here's a few of my earliest covers...
Gargoyles: Season 1
Still a great show... check it out on Disney+! Not sure what prompted this to be my first cover. I think I wanted to play around with adding stone texture to the title treatment, and it just sort of went from there.
Ghost Hunters: Season 1
Not a great show, but a guilty pleasure that I used to leave on in the background while designing early covers. Not a total believer in the paranormal, but I enjoyed the early interactions between the investigators (particularly when the personalities clashed).
The Lost Boys
The first horror movie I saw as a kid (even though my parents didn't know I was watching it). For this cover, I was just exploring how to add texture and layer styles to existing the keyart and title treatment. Still didn't quite understand how to properly use studio templates, either. Also, rest in peace Joel Schumacher... I will remember you more for The Lost Boys than for putting nipples on Batman.
And a few of my most recent covers...
Jason and The Muppets Take Manhattan!
My most recent standalone cover and my most recent HRC entry. This one was fun and silly and ridiculous. Fozzy Bear holding Jason's machete makes me chuckle, even if nobody else finds it funny!
Crisis on Infinite Earths
My most recent addition to the Comic Book Collection
Avengers: Endgame
I've talked enough about this cover and I'm actually still a little tired of looking at it several months later. I'll let it speak for itself.
I've come a long way in 10+ years, but still have a lot further to go...

Wow, it’s great to see how far everyone has come, there’s a lot of very good first covers but the latest covers are awesome!
I would probably say I had been using Photoshop for about 3 or 4 years at the time of my first cover but I wasn’t anywhere near clued up on it as I am today (there’s still a lot to learn) and I did get a lot of help from everyone here especially Zantasha when she was around, I learnt so much from HiRes and as Speed mentioned the W.I.P thread is a great place to get help from so many talented designers.
