The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
[attachment=43904:LXG_DVD_..._preview.jpg]
This DVD cover was done in 2003, I think I have posted it before on here in a different topic it was pretty sad...
I revisited the title in 2012 to make a Blu-ray version while improved over the DVD version it still lacks in a lot of areas.
My last HRC entry was Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood in Jan 2020
Have made several other covers since then but with a lot less effort expended... mostly adding to the Criterion Collection, doing requests and such...

Lots of improvements guys, that's awesome! You did an excellent job on The House sauron, no wonder it did so good. I had very little experience in Photoshop before I started making covers. I learned so much from this community and would be nowhere near the designer i am today if it wasn't for you guys (not THAT good of a designer tho). Doing W.I.Ps and getting tips from our fellow designers really helps, so I encourage any/all designers to have a go in the W.I.P section. We can clearly see that you've come a very long way Bunny, very impressive. Is it bad that I actually like all the covers you posted Curt?
I think that the first The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen actually isn't that bad, especially for a first cover. But we all know how much you've stepped up these last years to become one of the best designer on here imo. Great improvement MM, you're two latest covers are superb!

Please keep my covers on this site and this site only!

This is a good topic. It's great to see how designers progress.
I didn't know anything about any kind of graphic art I just knew I wanted to do it, or at least try, as a kid I used to copy superheros from comics drawing them in my sketch pads, once I found out about computer graphics I wanted to do it, started off with paint shop pro before finding the holy grail of Photoshop, whether I'm any good or not is for others to judge but I'm pretty happy with how I'm going and have enjoyed pretty much every minute, I can still remember the delight of finally learning what layers were and how to mask something!
A lot of help along the way and finding HiRes was a godsend.
Ok not sure if this is actually really my first 'proper' cover but it would be kinda close to it, done in 2009, followed by the latest 2 I have done.
Bones displaying last is the first LOL

Cool thread again guys!
I've started from zero back in 2011.
I had no idea about matching colors, contrasts and levels, didn't know how to blend images into each othter or paint lights...
This wasn't my first but I guess my second cover from 2011:

And this is my latest so far in 2020:
