Increase the line spacing on the synopsis. It's a little cramped at the moment.

Spacing it out will help to fill in some of the negative space above and below the text block.

I think your back layout could benefit from some ways of "breaking up" each element. What about something like this?

[attachment=43510:drsleep.jpg]

Here's what I did...

- Adjusted line spacing on synopsis.

- Moved Special Features down a bit.

- Added a white divider line between synopsis and features. I made the divider in Illustrator with a horizontal line and the default Charcoal Feather brush, then copied it over into Photoshop.

- Added some dark red blood smear/drip/stain along the top. I painted it in with a brush, but you can take your time making it look cleaner than I did. Notice how the bottom edge of the blood roughly aligns with the bottom edge of the barcode.

In my opinion, these little additions help to separate each section and also resolves some issues with negative space.

I didn't include it my example, but another thing you could do is bold the title of each Special Feature (Return to the Overlook, The Making of Dr. Sleep: A New Vision, and From Shining to Sleep). Varying the font weight in this subtle way will help to visually separate the title from the rest of the info (HD, time, description). It also helps add a little bit of style to what would otherwise just be a "boring" line of text. It also makes it look like you spent a bit more time on it instead of just typing in text and moving on... not saying that's what you did in this case, but going that little extra mile will help out a lot. :D :D :D

EDIT:
While I'm preaching about "using negative space," what about adding the Overlook Hotel beneath Ewan's face? If you can't find a run-down, boarded-up version like in Doctor Sleep, you can always find a lot of photos of it by searching Stanley Hotel in Colorado, where the original Shining was shot. Here's a quick example using a generic photo of the Stanley...

Again, great suggestions by Kernie! I agree with all of them. I was trying to say to have things like separators but I never explain myself as clear as Kernie lol

Great suggestions. I love the hotel image too, that really fills that empty space nicely :)

Thanks Kernie and all of you for the feedback, i agree about the hotel below danny on the back and ill add that in the next update.

A dark red (like the same color used for the blood at the top) might work to add some accents to the Special Features. Just watch out for contrast issues putting red on orange.

Also, maybe remove some of the stray blood strips behind the specs/legals. They’re more of a distraction than a design element at this point.

This is coming along nicely! :D :D

Try adding the same colour you used for 'Special Features' to each feature title

This is really coming together now!

I have to disagree with Baz, I would just leave them as they are and you have them bolder and the red, I feel, doesn’t work that well on the orange for text.

I’m not digging the red on the Special Features header, it makes it blend in with the background instead of standing out like it did with the white.

If you still feel that it needs a bit of color, what about changing the dash at that start of each feature to a bullet? Or maybe a hexagon to tie in with the carpet pattern? Then experiment with different colors for the bullet/hexagon... maybe the dark red, or a more dull/bright orange? Might take some playing around to land on something that works.
