I'm with you. In bold and all-caps, it generates kind of a funky Gotham feel, which had me thrilled.

In the lower-case set and some of the other characters (each weight has ~375 characters), the half-and-half concept tended to bring out additional quirkiness. That helps make the font more unique, but uppercase is probably where it's strongest.

I have a new one!
It started out as an expansion of Rummy, but ended up being different enough to require its own identity.
One highlight is an Ultra-Condensed width for creating Billing Blocks.

Nice Tim, I like the fact it has Ultra Condensed and Regular widths in the same font, that's very cool and something you don't see often in fonts.

Out of interest how long do fonts take to make? I imagine it’s quite a long process.

I wish more fonts did, especially serif fonts. But, even this one, where an ultra-condensed was the goal from the beginning, wasn't entirely cooperative, so it would probably be really tough to make something equivalent to a Trajan Ultra-Condensed.

I'm still learning a lot for the first time, so everything seems to take longer than it should.

It's one of those cases where the first 50% of the work is fairly quick and a lot of fun, then the rest is a battle.

Some designers have made fonts in a day, but 1 week to 1 month looks to be the average for simple projects. My next one coming soon took about a month.

I had a HiResChallenge entry in progress, but it was nowhere near ready to compete with xshoty and ctaulbee this month.
