A New Font!
How that's what I'm talkin' about. You'll have a pm in a minute Bunny. Great Font. That's why I asked
@Sauron I completely understand your point. It does take hard work and it is of great value. It's just that I'm not a professional designer so I would never pay for any font, be it the best font possibly imaginable. I was just asking Tim as a favor for us who are in this just for the pleasure of making cool covers, and not professionally. But I do agree with you. I wish success for all, and that includes Tim, who i always said was one of my favorite designers.

I don't know how many oldsters are still around from this thread's beginning, but I have another update arising from that Bogart project with my pals here so many years ago.
Back in the day, I designed this title treatment for Dark Passage with a sans-serif top half and a serif bottom half to convey the movie's shift in point-of-view halfway through:

After years of thinking about it, I finally jumped in and spent the past few months turning the concept into a font called Pluot:

(The font is more subtle than my original title treatment, primarily to fix some balance issues and make it more usable.)

In coming up with the sample images, it felt pretty versatile, so here's hoping the font will find some interesting uses out in the world.
Thank you again to my friends here for the encouragement on those designs years ago, it resulted in some posters/covers I love and a couple of pretty cool additional projects.
For added visual appeal and to make this feel less like a sales pitch, here are more Bogart designs:

Two additional in-progress for a while, awaiting Blu-ray releases:
