Thanks for posting the chronological-timeline-order spine pics, MCUDan! Looks great... glad you like the covers!

Kernie's Weekly Cover Update #10: Aquaman!
[Click image to view in gallery]

I actually have a love/hate relationship with this cover, because I'm really happy with the way it turned out, but I really didn't care for the movie itself. It's one of those cases where everything just sort of worked with the design on the first try and I didn't have to spend a lot of time trying to make all of the elements fit together. However, I felt the film was a competently-made mess that continues the trend in which DC continues to confuse "complicated plot" with "compelling story." But I may be in the minority with this opinion, as reviews and box office seem to be doing pretty good for it.

Haven't seen the movie yet myself (the girlfriend is already drooling over the idea of two hours of soaking wet Jason Mamoa), but another top notch cover I'm happily adding to my collection!

Haven't seen the movie yet but very glad to see the aquaman catalogue has a further addition to the comic collection besides batman/superman/spiderman taking most of the collection lol.

I've yet to see the film too, but the cover looks great, turned out really well :)

I think DC just try too hard with their films, with the amount of comicbook stories and source material DC have, they would hire people that a more familiar with the characters and stories to write there scripts, before they churn out a film.

Take Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice it has 3 or 4 storylines ripped apart and mashed together to form a film, Doomsday was a complete mess and resembled a cave troll from Lord of the Rings.

Wonder Woman wasn't too bad, but was again let down by it's CGI work with the main antagonist Ares, and his altar ego played by David Thewlis, who to be honest is a good actor in his own right, but I felt he was totally wrong for this film.

Justice League, I thought was another complete mess, introducing characters that should have had better back stories, even there own films, and casted better, I don't think Ezra Miller was a good choice for the Flash, and no I'm not comparing him to Grant Gustin's Flash, Miller in my mind just doesn't fit.

Anyhow enough of the ranting, it's a great looking cover, thanks so much again :)

I was wondering when this one would appear :) Awesome job as always.

I haven't seen the movie either, but I don't tend to get too excited about DC movies. It always feels like DC try too hard to keep up with Marvel, but never pull it off. Apart from the Dark Knight movies and Suicide squad, I haven't enjoyed any of them.

fantastic cover and i have seen the and its the Best DC film in many many yrs, it trumps, Man of Steel, Batman V Superman , Justice league, i even liked it more than Suicide Squad . it was a fun full of action movie with laughs and really Jason really made the character stand out much more than in justice league.

It reminded me more of a marvel movie cause i was wasn't watching this dark depressing movie with no color. but that's just my opinion
