When you've come across this dilemma in the past, did u make covers for that certain title or did you leave it?
On a side note, it was a really good show for 4 seasons.

Kernie wrote:QUOTE (Kernie @ Dec 28 2018, 08:17 AM) Thanks for the interest, but no, I have not made covers for The Strain. For inclusion in my collection, the movie/show/cartoon/etc. needs to be based on a comic book. The Strain started as a book trilogy in 2009, was then adapted into a comic series in 2011, and finally into a TV show in 2014. So while the show is technically based on a comic, that comic is based on a pre-existing book series... so I'm not sure if I should include it. Anybody else care to weigh in? I'm not entirely sure if this would qualify, but I'm open to opinions. This appears to be another one of those "gray areas," that I've encountered many times before.
I get what you are saying I actually didn't know it started as a book haha. Yea I get the grey area I have a few of those in my sets im Iffy on.

but what ever you decide thanks for the input and all Id love to see it in your form if you decide to go that route but if not its all good thanks

I usually made an executive decision in the past. Sometimes it was because I had a personal interest in adding it to the collection (for instance, Ducktales and its spin-off Darkwing Duck, which I loved as a kid), in other cases it was because the property was widely known for being a comic or had a long comic history, even if it didn't start out that way (for example, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Casper, or G.I. Joe).

I guess it just depended upon my interest level. I'll think about adding The Strain... if there's decent resources available to make custom covers, and I have the time and interest to do it, we'll see...

Thanks for understanding, xspankyxduckx... like I said above, I'll think about it...

Kernie's Weekly Cover Update #9: Ant-Man and the Wasp!
[Click image to view in gallery]

Sorry for teasing this cover last week, here's what a number of you have been waiting for... hope the wait was worth it!

Ant-Man and the Wasp: 4K Ultra HD Edition
[attachment=40528:mfc_antm..._package.jpg]
* Regarding 4K Covers: For the time being, I've decided to make 4K covers on a select basis... mostly new releases that have retail 4K editions. I don't really intend to go back through the catalogue to make 4K versions of old stuff... at least not at the moment. I hope that's understandable.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Blu-ray Edition

Ant-Man and the Wasp: DVD Edition

And I revised the old Ant-Man covers to match... I like these much better than the old ones...

Ant-Man: Blu-ray Edition

Ant-Man: DVD Edition

P.S. I'll be uploading a "Marvel Cinematic Universe" edition of this revised "Ant-Man" keyart in a few days. :D :D :D

Enjoy! :D

Oh wow, really like the new Ant-Man cover, it looks much nicer than the original, the Pym Logo is more fitting than the helmet logo, I see you've removed the Ants from the back, they where a nice touch but a little hard to see once printed, the TT looks great too, really nice update :)

Ant-Man and the Wasp, the keyart looks great and works really well with the template, the TT is wonderful, and I like how you've changed the colour of the Pym logo to reflect wasp's title colour similar to what you did with the spines for your MCU covers.

Thanks so much and really well done :D

See you next year :D

fantastic job, i find it truly amazing when you go back and create your own custom fronts after already customizing poster art. new sets are better.

I was a fan of the show and I have some resources for it, I'll get them uploaded :)

They look sweet! :award:
