Let's talk rigs
If anyone is in the market for a budget tablet, I recently bought myself a XP-Pen 03, for just £29.99. I have to say, it is one of the best purchases I have made for my PC (value wise). I previously had a Wacom tablet, but my young daughter decided to 'borrow' it thinking it was a real pen, and I never saw it again. But the XP-Pen has been almost perfect for me. My only slight grievance with it, is the pen pressure. You do have to push quite hard to get full pressure, but it just takes some getting used to. Other than that, there is no lag and it is very precise.
So , this is my old setup.
CPU: Intel Core i5 760 @ 2.80GHz Lynnfield 45nm Technology
HDD: Crucial CT500MX500SSD1, WDC WD2002FYPS-02W3B0, SAMSUNG HD502HJ, Seagate ST3160811AS
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
RAM: G.Skill F3-12800CL7-ECO DDR3 1600 8GB (2GBx4) CL7-8-7-24 1.35V
Heatsink: Scythe MUGEN 2 REV.B
Mobo: MSI P55-GD65
Power Supply: be quiet! Straight Power 10 800W
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster T240
O/S: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Graphics Software: Photoshop CS5
Filters Used: Topaz
Input Device: Gigabyte GM-M6900V2, One by WACOM CTL-671
It is quite an old unit, but I do not play games because I do not have time for it, but only from time to time I create covers
. For my needs is now enough and I have no problems with it.
cheers guys
