Movies You've Watched Because of a Great Poster or Cover?

Has a cover or poster ever convinced you to watch a movie or turned an interesting title into a must-see?

And, the follow-up question: How was the movie?

Here are a few that come to mind for me, and most of the films actually ended up being good.
Of these, Anatomy of a Murder and Anthropoid were probably the best:

I think movie posters/covers can be the sole responsibility of you wanting to watch a movie or not.

For example, this poster art makes me think the movie is going to be cheap and not well thought out, just like the poster



But a poster like this one for Inception grabs my attention



However, one of my favourite posters is for Fight Club

Also, not a poster but the cover from Criterion for Le Samourai



And I really liked them all.

First one I can think of, I thought the movie was excellent.




Other than the obvious this was a good film..

Another poster that caught my attention. The film was surprisingly good with excellent casting.

I blame the poster artists... They convinced me..

All of them great movies!

A great poster doesn't equal a great movie. There's no correlation whatsoever. There are great movies that have horrible posters and vice versa and vice vice and versa versa.

The only ones I would watch because of a good poster are pornographic films
