Hello from Germany

Hi ,

My name is stancheck, i´m big fan of comic based movies and series.
I´m from germany in Dortmund and 48j old.
When i was young i startet to collect US Comics original and US Comics translated in german.
It startet when my aunt from Holland/Michigan send me box full with comics. She gave me What if 1-20,
cause there was no translated version of this run in germany. And with years i could collect the rest.
In the 80s i had the chance to get a comic dealer in the next big town, i lived in a smalltown, before
i went to Dortmund. So i could buy Valiant Comics, Dark Horse, DC and Marvel. After 1999 i stoped collecting Comics
for a while. With the Company Panini ; Splitter, CrossCult and Dino Verlag we could buy more books in german language
than in the 70s to the 90s. Sometimes i going to buy Tradepaperpacks and Hardcover with collected stories.
But the new passion is comic based movies , first the was VHS and comes DVDS and now Blu rays.
I´m collecting other movies too... like Star Wars, Star Trek, Buffy, Seven Days, Sliders, X-Files ect ect.
I like Kernies work of the comic based cover , there are beautiful awesome work.
