I love fall, but these covers are making me wish summer would never end :lsmile:

Fantastic covers all around, I'll be downloading them all when I get a chance!

Also, The Gifted is surprisingly good. I had low expectations with Fox, but they really impressed me with this series.

These new cover posts have been the highlight of my mornings. Visiting this thread is the first thing I do every morning.

Thank you very much for the comment... it's great to hear that you enjoy starting your day with my covers! :D

Your assessment of the shows is pretty spot on and I agree with most, I differ on a few, I easily get bored with some of them and as Kernie said about Gotham, they soon turn into background noise.

I was probably too harsh in some of my assessments... I do enjoy watching most of the shows, but with such oversaturation of comic-shows, it's almost a chore to keep up with everything... especially the 20+ episode seasons of the CW/DC shows. I enjoy the lighter tone of Flash/Supergirl/Legends and I'm looking forward to the Batwoman series, but it's tough to find time some weeks, especially to watch a "filler" episode about a lame villain-of-the-week.

Awesome addition. And I just love seeing how much people enjoy your collection!

Me too! Knowing that so many people are still interested is truly what keeps me going!

This thread just keeps getting better! Thank you so much, kernie! I'm also blown away every day by this extravaganza that just keeps on coming! Thank you again, Sir!

You're welcome and thank you! I have a few more covers to go... after that... who knows?

Thanks! Unfortunately, summer will have to end some time. :(

Awesome. I wonder if people appreciate just how well you put these together. It isn't just about the overall look of the cover. It is about the skill involved blending, cutting, cloning, colouring, lighting etc that really impresses me.

I think it’s safe to say that most average members here (the subscribers who only use the gallery and not the forums), don’t even consider the time and effort that all HiRes designers put into their work. Whether it’s ignorance (they have never used Photoshop) or entitlement (they just expect everything to magically appear as soon as an early trailer drops), I think people forget that every artist spends hours finding the right images, cutting out bodies, masking windblown hair, cloning areas that are missing or covered up, matching the color balance between images, arranging all elements in an interesting layout, and making sure that all of the text/specs/legals of the DVD/Blu-ray are accurate. It’s not just me... we all make great stuff with subtleties that unfortunately go largely unnoticed.

As for my particular work, I should clarify that this “Cover-A-Day” streak does not mean that I’m actually making each cover in a single day. I spent the last few months putting everything together and now it’s just a matter of uploading them... and some days even doing that can be difficult. Thank you to everyone who makes an effort to understand and appreciate what it takes to do these covers while balancing everything else in life!

Wow didn't expect to see Legion S2, I thought it was still in the process of being made, so thanks it looks a wonderful cover, I found the second season even harder to understand and follow than the first, weird show, and to my knowledge it's been renewed for a third season, someone out there must like it.

I really appreciate all the hard work that has gone into each and every cover, having dabbled in it myself, so I know it takes time and skill for every artist to do what they do on here, not Just Kernie, but all the artists that participate in making covers, everyone has there favourite Artists, some good, some bad, some with exceptional skills, those people that haven't contributed, really need to make an effort and try it for themselves, then at least they may discover it can have a steep learning curve to create the artwork the artists make, and learn to be a little more appreciative for what they are downloading. :D

Thanks again for all the hard work :award:

I'm a designer myself. I mean, I use Photoshop for a living. And some of the stuff you do, Kernie, I wouldn't be able to replicate.
