It looks better but I would still recommend removing the drop shadow on the TT, a few other things I would personally do...

• Remove the justification on the synopsis, as JR said it's causing too many gaps in the text (these are called rivers).
• Between the TT on the spine and the image on the spine there's a big gap, why not centre the TT vertically?
• The synopsis is very very close to the image of Tarzan touching the monkey

Also could you please remember to not post the full size covers in W.I.P - I have resized your previous ones to a width of 1000px.

how would i fix the synopsis to not be so spaced i wanted it to be flat squared on both sides amd thats how the setting came out?
also Ill try black borders i tried it with the white background and the black was way to bright if that makes since. I normally use a beveled border but beings this is like vhs i didnt bevel it. my other dvd sets u can see have the bevels.
and @speedz0r which suggestion?

Need to reduce the point size of the font then adjust the tracking and leading to get a good result, example:

Can't help you with gimp, but if you get Photoshop and still need a little more clarification then that I can do :)

That it still can use a background texture. I think it would help it out a lot.
Something as simple as this for example:

Gimp apparently uses their own designations for things lol.

This talks about the two parameters you need to adjust, line spacing (leading) and letter spacing (tracking).
