Yeah, I don't see a difference either, but then Paris' image seems much more saturated with color than what I've posted. I'm worried that we're all seeing different things.

As far as monitor calibration goes... I don't use an external monitor... I'm on a new MacBook Pro that I purchased in February and finally switched from PS CS6 to CC 2017. So I'm wondering if there's a default setting that I need to adjust or something that the old "Save for Web (Legacy)" option is doing to adjust the colors in my design without my knowledge.

On a side note, I looked into some of my past designs to see if something similar is happening. I went to my Suicide Squad (non-Comic Collection cover) in the gallery and noticed the watermarked preview looks a bit oversaturated. But then I opened the full-size version and the colors looked like I had intended them, so I'm wondering if there's something going on where Chrome is interpreting jpegs with a different color profile. Maybe it's just on my end, I really don't know. I'm not an expert on color profiles, proof setups, or working spaces, so I'm trying to figure out what's going on with what little knowledge and experience I have in this area.

Oh well, I'll either figure it out or just get tired of worrying about it and deal with it.

They look the same to me and they seem fine color wise to my tastes anyway lol.

On a side note the gallery previews are of course re-built scaled down versions of the original file with an overlay for the watermark, so they could look slightly different from the original file.

Strange! I'll have to have a look on my MacBook Pro and in Chrome for you and see if I can see any difference to my windows machine.

Maybe it could be Paris' monitor that is wrong?

/EDIT - Checked on my MBP and it looks exactly the same on both previews.

I think it was the color profile of my GIF, or the GIF was stuck on the first frame which was the original image before showing the suggestion?

Kernie there is no difference between your previews

But I can clearly see the shadowing in Paris's gif and it looks good to me.

Just looking at my color settings in CS6, I know this might not help as your on CC

But anyway

Color Settings
Settings : North American General Purpose 2
Working space
RGB : sRGB IEC61966-2.1
CMYK: U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2
Gray: Dot Gain 20%
Spot: Dot Gain 20%

Color Management Policies
RGB, CMYK and Gray : All set to Preserve Embedded Profiles

I don't know if it's the same in CC but this might help ?????

Thanks for the help everyone, and to Darksaber for posting his color settings. Mine somehow got set to Custom settings, so I put them back to North American General Purpose 2 and we'll see how things go from here. I'm not going to stress too much about it for now and I'll troubleshoot any problems in the future as needed.

As for Paris' suggestion to darken the front, I think I prefer the image the way it is. I'm not sure if it's a calibration thing or what, but I don't feel it looks bad on my end, so I'm going to leave it. But thanks for the suggestion! :D

I have to agree, I think I prefer it how you have it at the moment.

In the past few months I had also converted to the Adobe CC suite and I've had one or two pieces of work that became over-saturated, etc. I can't remember how I fixed one but if I figure anything out I'll let you know. And I'll keep an eye on this thread cause it could help me!

And the design is looking very nice, I love the 3D effect of the Special Features area. As for the spine I like it the way it is.

Finished Guardians of the Galaxy and uploaded the Blu-ray Cover and Disc Label to the gallery. Sorry, but no DVD versions for this cover set (or at least I have no plans to convert them at the moment).

Starting work on the Guardians Vol. 2 keyart, which is proving a bit more difficult... or at least until more resources become available. Here's what I have so far (still really early on this one, so a lot of stuff needs to be added and everything is subject to potential change).

Great work Kernie!

Something about Chris' head on vol.2 keyart looks a bit odd to me, is it the original from the poster or have you replaced it with a similar one?
