Still messing with this...so far I've added:

- rim light on Ron and Hermione;
- the Owl that isn't finished yet;
- and the gold shield at the top.

I'm not sure if I prefer the front without the frame (and please ignore the blue sketch above the background, I forgot to turn down a layer when I saved the preview).

What do you guys prefer? With or without the frame and the year?

On Harry it's a bit too much rim light I think. And Ron & Hermione need some more contrast compared to Harry at least their faces, not their hair).

A bit more done, worked Harry's rim light and the faces are now with the same tone (at least they are on my monitor).
Also reworked the background image to show it a bit more. And forgot to fix the tagline.

I also like it without the frame... as well as with! I like the shield idea keep the shield imo bro and keep the updates coming too

To be honest it's really looking good without the frame as well.
What if you only add some kind of border on top of the front for the logo?

I personally prefer the logo from post #41.

I'm with Fidi I kind of like the less frame version, or the top frame look of #41, the full frame version is very nice though.
