Personally I feel it works better without the explosion, takes the focus off the rest of the image too much.

Also I noticed the skull straight away as well

Is there a way you can bring his cut arm in so it's not cut? Use Puppet warp or do it manually?

I'll see what I can do about the hand. I've tried that befor but I didn't get it done. Will give it another try.

There are not many pictures of Mr. Jackson. One more where he is nearly full visible. But that's from the beginning of the movie, from a szene were he is going to his helicopter and is wearing sunglasses. You never se him like this when they've arived the island, that's why I've choosen the used image.

There is very much dirt on him but I can try to clean that somehow.

I'll find way to change him I think.

And thanks for the example with the rocks in the water. I guess that's what the other guys ment before but somehow I didn't get it.

Of course I won't do that. I guess it's totally obvious that this does not show the real island they're on in the film. The proportion from the people's sizes to the island's size, the big monkey in the background and the big title in the foreground should make it very, very clear that this is only art and does not show the real island the movie is playing on. When you expect that from seeing it I think you should not use this cover.

Yeah, I'm just watching to much Premiere League football.

Made some changes as suggested by RookerDesigns:

- added some phlegm to Kongs face (thanks to speed for the brushes!)
- changed the image of Sam Jackson (don't want to use the one with the sunglasses) - is that better now?
- added some rocks, splashes ad waves infront of them around the island
- did Brie Larson's hair
- added some brightness to the red smoke
- and finally corrected Mr. Huddlestone

Didn't get done Kong's hand, couldn't even find anything in a similar pose and a resolution good enough. All I've tried looked very strange and wrong.
