Didn't care for the movie, but your cover is looking really promising so far. I saw the skull straight away, so personally I don't think you need to do anything.

I have a few suggestions:
- What about using the same font and bevel as you've got in the TT for the actor names?
- There were a few large explosions (with flames etc.) in the beginning. Would it look more vibrant if you added some behind mega-monkey?
- Even though this is a character composition I think you should adjust the sizes of the characters. They are standing on a rock/mountain and their sizes should ideally reflect the distance to the "camera" in my opinion. Right now John Goodman and Samuel are smaller than the two others. Should be the other way around.
- Where's Reilly? He's mentioned on top but not part of the composition. Maybe add him?

I can see what xshoty says about the island looking "fake". Right now, it looks more like a big rock floating around in the water (kinda like an iceberg), instead of an island that is stuck to the ground. I think if you add sand and cliff parts to it, it will look more realistic. Do a google search on island to get some reference images.

Thanks guys!

Tried to do what Z has suggested.

- Changed the positions of the characters so their size is correct to their postion now
- added John Reilly
- many small corrections by cloning on all characters (lights etc)

Made two versions, one with explosion/fire added behind Kong and the title font for all other texts.
Of course the explosion could be done different but I don't think thats really working (of course fire glow etc. on Kong isn't done yet). The rockets are only "one their" way to Kong. I was going to create a fire scene with Jackson and Kong for the back so maybe I should go without fire on the front?

And for the font I'm not sure as well. The new one fits the title of course but the first one is more dicreet and leaves the focus on the image. Not sure what to do.

And some help with phlegm on his teeth would be great.

This looks amazing... Love it. My two cents are..

Is there a way you can bring his cut arm in so it's not cut? Use Puppet warp or do it manually?

Is there a better pose of Sam Jackson, he looks out of place and looks bored.

Also made add some rocks below the island to make it look more real...

I spent like 2 mins on this lol. Don't judge me... hahaha

I like the explosion. It kinda balances out the flare over his shoulder. Rooker's suggestion looks good.

The cover is well made but it looks like the movie takes place on a teeny tiny island. In my opinion that front doesn't work..My suggestion would be get rid of the island. Doesn't look right
