Kong - Skull Island

Hi guys.

Saw the movie a few days ago and really liked it so I've started a cover. Here's what I've got so far:

Looking good! Only thing I can suggest is to make Samuel L Jackson brighter? He is a little lost compared to the others.

I've seen it twice and loved it as well! I'm betting you just haven't gotten to it yet, but I'd like to see more detail (rocks, rubble, etc) where the water meets the island - looks too smooth currently. Your cover is looking fantastic and I can't wait to see how it turns out!

The idea is really cool but the small island look fake too me... maybe cause the cover have some desatured tone and the island have some strong satured color like the green and i also agree with max

Thanks for your comments, I've made some changes:

- added more brightness to Sam & Tom
- Muzzle flash added to Tom's weapon
- reduced the saturation of all the green about 20%
- changed the "Front" of the island so maybe it's looking more realistic now how how the island gets into the water (added a 40% transparancy to the parts near the water so it's hopefully looking like the water is getting more shallow)

I'm not sure if you only mean the colours look like fake or the artwork itself. If it's the first I hope it's better now, the green, the water and Kong have the same saturation now and it's only the background which is more desaturated. Please tell me if not.

No the artwork is awesome bud the idea very original look better now

I've mirrored Kong so his cutted hand is on the right border of the cover and not on the spine. I guess that's looking better.
Had to change some elements of the island as well and added some more details here and there.

It would be cool to add some saliva to his teeth as shown on the picture:

But I've no ideas how to do it looking good. Any ideas or maybe a some PNGs?
And I'm not sure about the skull in the middle on top of the island. Is it even noticeable, or any ideas how to make it stand out some more if it's necessary?

Sorry, didn't want to ignore that.

I personally like it as it is now. I hope it's looking more realistic with the gradient from the island to into the water. There are many stones/rocks on it and to be honest I don't really like the idea very much adding more stuff infront of the title.
