Saw Arabian Nights volume 2 yesterday. A solid 8/10

It was Portugal's submission to best foreign picture. Director Miguel Gomes really is a force to be reckoned with.
I'll leave you the english trailer. Hope i can spice up your appetites

Independence Day: Resurgence starts in a convincing way but... rapidly it becomes what I thought it would be: a useless and predictable continuation in an average science fiction film of the 1990's.

The spaceships and the destruction are bigger but not better in Roland Emmerich‘s 20-years-later follow-up, where only Jeff Goldblum‘s sense of humor saves the day.

4/10

Sully - 6/10

Personally I feel the film was too short to tell this story, I hadn't heard about it before and it seemed to just jump straight into it, overall it wasn't a bad watch and had me reading about it after but not something I would watch again if it were on the TV.

I actually enjoyed Sully. I didn't think I was going to, but I was pleasantly surprised. Watching The Terminal for the first time shortly before had helped though. It reminded me that Tom Hanks can take what sounds like a boring story line, and make it a great film. So on that note I would give

The Terminal 8/10
Sully 7/10

Coach Carter - 7/10
It was pretty much as I expected, so it was quite predictable, but it was an enjoyable film.

Nothing to Lose - 8/10
I think I've seen this one before, a long time ago. It actually is a clever little movie with and it shows how far a person can go when they think they have "nothing to lose".

I just watched Tigerland. I thought Colin Farrell was excellent, though I wish they'd explored his character a little further (and his bare ar5e a lot less). It's usually a sign you've enjoyed a film when you consider it too short. I'd put off watching it for a while, as I'd believed it to be a war movie - not a genre I'm keen on - but actually, it's more a 'coming of age' movie about soldiers drafted for Vietnam - no actual war I was pleased to discover.

Tigerland 7.5/10 [Farrell 9/10]
I have over 30 years experience in presenting technical artwork, although, cover design is a pretty new thing for me.

I marvel at the artwork some of you are putting together - I do not have the skill (or software) to compare or compete with.

Still, even if you're not a fan of my more simplistic design approach, or dislike my design choices, I still hope you can offer me constructive comments.

Thank you...
