If the item is updated and then approved it won't be in that folder.
I think it shows if there are any approval comments on each item in the gallery for staff, it will be in () right after the name of the person who approved it so it would be a matter of looking at recent items by staff.
If a item was re-uploaded vs replacing the original rejected item then it could in fact be missed via the above check, unless someone were to check the rejects as well.
That's a minor issue anyway, I can create a function that will search both areas by user and date, to see if there have been any in the last XX days.

Awesome, that would be good and could also be used to clean up the rejected items as well, a lot of people just re-upload rather than replace.

1. All label submissions for contributor status must be unique (in our opinion) ie no similar versions in the gallery already.
2. Must be a active member making regular contributions over last three(3) months to apply for contributor status.
3. Must have had no gallery rejects in the last 30 days.
I am not 100% sure about point 3. If an item has been rejected and replaced, I see that as a good thing. It shows that we can all make mistakes, but importantly this member is willing to improve on their mistakes.

I suppose since contributors uploads are not auto approved it would be less of an issue

So, do we all agree the rules should be updated with these points?
1. All label submissions for contributor status must be unique (in our opinion) ie no similar versions in the gallery already.
2. Must be a active member making regular contributions over last three(3) months to apply for contributor status.
